Rubber crumb coatings / Non-slip carpet coatings: Inno Textiles developed a special rubber crumb coating specifically designed to give a non slip finish for carpet coatings. This is particularly effective when the coated carpet is placed on top of another random velour carpet as typically found in most types of cars today. This is because the rubber crumb particles hook on to the fibres of the carpet under it, similar to the effect of Velcro. The rubber crumb coating also provides excellent non slip characteristics when the carpet is placed on more traditional flooring such as stone or wood. It also has the added benefit that it is manufactured using old car tyres that havebeen ground up, making it environmentally friendly. It is typically used for the manufacture of car mats.
